To provide a method and apparatus for removing a radioactivity containing gas and vapor for the purpose of purifying an atmosphere to be breathed by efficiently separating radioactivity in order to prevent danger on neighboring habitants caused by leaking radioactivity in the atmosphere or by capturing radioactivity contained in vapor in a nuclear power plant or the like.
In split reaction or fusion reaction of a radioactive substance such as uranium that is a fuel of a nuclear power plant, a gaseous body including radiation is generated. Normally, the reaction is performed inside a sealed container and shielded so as not to be leaked outside but in the case of an accident such as feeding stop of cooling water, control is disabled by protrusion of fuel rods or the like. Therefore, radioactivity is diffused in the atmosphere and as a range of neighboring inhabitants or diffusion is expanded, exposed habitants may be increased. Victims of exposure suffer from indescribable pains. The present invention uses spherical cyclone, from results of collecting micro virus or bacteria in order to prevent radioactive damages on habitants, to also collect radioactivity containing fume, dust, mist, smoke-like or gaseous body substances into the liquid.
