Abstract:
To obtain a raw material for regeneration, having industrial value by chemically treating a polyester resin waste by a simple installation at a comparatively short time, and to easily regenerate an unsaturated polyester by directly using the raw material.
The polyester resin waste is decomposed by using a glycol adduct of maleic anhydride and/or itaconic anhydride in the presence or absence of a catalyst to provide a resin raw material for resynthesis. The unsaturated polyester is synthesized by condensing the resin raw material.
