PURPOSE: To efficiently treat a large amount of dust in low cost by heating and compressing moisture-containing dust at specific temp.
CONSTITUTION: A feed chamber 6 is provided so as to communicate with a dust charging chamber 1 equipped with a dust feed-in body 4 and upper compression bodies 14 are provided to a main body 8 having the support shaft 9 as the center of rotation at the axial center thereof so as to provide intervals around the support shaft 9. Each of compression chambers 11 whose inner wall is heated by a heating means is arranged under each of the upper compression bodies 14 and lower compression bodies 12 are provided in the compression chambers 11 so as to be positioned in opposed relation to the upper compression bodies 14. The feed chamber 6 and the compression chamber 11 are brought to positional relation possible to communicate each other. That is, moisture- containing dust is heated in the compression chambers 11 heated to 100-300°C to be compressed and solidified into a block shape. As a result, a large amount of dust can be efficiently treated in low cost. Further, a problem of hardly combustible matter such as metal or earth and sand, gas or the like generated at the time of the treatment of dust can be eliminated.
