To provide a stable exhaust gas treatment method and apparatus for reducing dioxin in exhaust gas while considering the simplificity of fly ash treatment without using energy wastefully.
An exhaust gas treatment method is adapted to the detoxifying treatment of exhaust gas containing a harmful component and comprises a first process for introducing exhaust gas into an electric precipitator 4 at 200-350°C to remove soot in the exhaust gas, a second process for introducing the exhaust gas from the first process into a denitrating tower 8 and/or a dioxin removing tower to remove nitrogen oxide and/or dioxins in the exhaust gas, a third process for introducing the exhaust gas from the second process into a semi-dry type reaction tower not only to remove an acidic component in the exhaust gas by a slaked lime slurry but also to quench the exhaust gas and a fourth process for introducing the exhaust gas from the third process into a bag filter to remove a reaction product.
