When whether the voltage is applied to the electrical conductor 11 in the distribution line with the installed voltage detection apparatus 10 is discriminated, a capacitor 21 is arranged across the detecting electrode 13 and the grounding body 15, a terminal 22a of a conductor 22 connected to the detecting electrode 13 is arranged in a separated specific place, a voltage detector D is brought into contact with the terminal 22a of the conductor 22, and whether the voltage is applied to the electrical conductor 11 is decided.
