Abstract:
PURPOSE: To apply an adhesive economically and efficiently in a method for applying the adhesive to a melton material for a tennis ball by facilitating the utilization of punched wastes to other uses while lessening the unevenness of an applied amount of the adhesive.
CONSTITUTION: A tennis ball consisting of a core ball 2 and a melton material 3 for a dumbbell-shaped tennis ball bonded to the core ball has an adhesive applied thereon by the technique of screen printing. Then, after the melton material for the tennis ball is punched into the dumbbell-like shape, the adhesive is applied to the melton material for the dumbbell-shaped tennis ball.
