Abstract:
To provide an assembly method in which a conical roller never gets damaged in a case of assembling a conical roller bearing with a high contact angle of 35° or more.SOLUTION: When a small diameter side protrusion part 13c of an inner ring 13 is inserted into an inscribed circle diameter portion of a conical roller row of a roller and holder assembly 21, in order not to damage a conical roller 14, a thin and easily deformable cylindrical jig 17 is fitted to an outer diameter surface of the small diameter side protrusion part 13c of the inner ring 13, and on an outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical jig 17, the inner ring 13 and a shaft 16 are inserted into the roller and holder assembly 21 while guiding the inscribed circle diameter portion of the conical roller row of the roller and holder assembly 21.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
