Abstract:

To uniformly shrink green sheets and to prevent their mutual adhesion even in the case green sheets are laminated in multilayers, and great quantities of metallic porous bodies are simultaneously baked.

In the method for baking a metallic porous body in which a green sheet obtd. by kneading metal powder and an organic binder and executing molding is baked through a degreasing stage and a baking stage in a baking furnace, a plurality of green sheets 16 are laminated on a horizontal bottom board 18 of graphite, stainless or the like, moreover, releasing materials 17 are inserted into the space between the respective green sheets 16, and, in the degreasing stage, the releasing materials 17 are carbonized.
