Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to uniformly heat material to be heated in a heat storage type radiant tube burner unit having a plurality of radiant tubes formed in U shape adjacent in a continuous heat treating furnace.
SOLUTION: A plurality of U-shaped radiant tubes 3a to 3f are adjacently disposed at a predetermined interval along the advancing direction of material to be heated in the state that the linear parts 30b are opposed to the material. Burners 5a, 5b and heat accumulators 4a, 4b are receptively provided at both ends of the tubes 3a to 3f. When the one of the adjacent tubes burns the burner 5b of the near side to the material, the other tube burns the burner 5a of the remote side from the material 1.
