PURPOSE: To obtain a gold metal bar with high quality of casting surface by grasping the upper end part of a crucible with a three points-supporting hand of a hand replacement type articulated robot having over six freedoms, pouring the gold metal into a graphite or ceramic mold and casting a gold metal bar.
CONSTITUTION: Part of the outer periphery of the upper end part of a crucible containing molten gold metal at a prescribed temperature capable of casting sent to a part of lacking coils by the quantity of two crucibles melted by a gold metal melting device is grasped over six freedoms by a three points supporting hand 17 of a hand replacement type articulated robot 16. The molten gold metal in this crucible is preheated by a mold preheating furnace to a prescribed temperature and charged into a mold 20 of graphite or ceramics taken out by another mold hand of the robot to cast a gold metal bar. Consequently, the finished surface by casting becomes flat, no mold release agent is required, a long time of continuous casting operation can be performed and casting efficiency for gold metal bar is improved.
