PURPOSE: To easily continue fill-up of molten metal into pouring basin part since initial stage of molten metal pouring at the time of pouring the molten metal into a mold.

CONSTITUTION: At lower part of a vertical sprue 12 connected with a sprue cup 11, a strainer 15 is arranged, and on this strainer 15, a metal-made dam plate 20 made of the material corresponding to the main components in the molten metal, is arranged. This dam plate 20 dams the molten metal for a while at the time of starting the molten metal pouring and has a role for filling up the molten metal in the sprue cup 11. After that, the dam plate 20 is melted with heat of the molten metal, and as the molten metal in the sprue cup 11 is flowed into a runner 13, the molten metal pouring is continued so as to fill up the molten metal into the sprue cup 11 as the same way as the ordinary method after that.
