Abstract:

To provide a method for centering an elevator car, enabling easy and efficient centering by installing a cage on the lower beam of a car frame, as well as stepless fine adjustment.

The centering method for adjusting inclination of a cage for centering in installing a car frame and the cage on the lower beam of the car frame via vibration-proof rubbers 10 includes the steps of: screwing a jack bolt 22 into the lower beam 5 of the car frame; and adjusting the inclination of the cage for centering by vertically displacing the vibration-proof rubbers 10 by screwing in/out operations of the jack bolt 22 and changing distances L between the vibration-proof rubbers 10 and the lower beam 5. The vibration-proof rubbers 10 are provided below the cage at equal intervals. A plurality of jack bolts 22 are provided in the lower beam 5 for each vibration-proof rubber 10.
