PURPOSE: To obtain a sprue constructing method in an ingot mold device drastically enabling shortening of the constructing time of the sprue.
CONSTITUTION: The sprue 2 in the mold device for casting the ingot by a bottom pouring is constructed through each stage, in which sprue bricks 2 are connected on a center brick 1 arranged in a device bottom plate and a sprue case 19 having a funnel part 18 at the upper end is fitted to out of the sprue bricks 2 and a buffering hold material 12 is loaded in between the sprue case 19 and the sprue bricks 2 and a receiving hole brick 6 is connected with the upper end of the sprue brick 2 and mortar 20 is applied into gap between the receiving hole brick 6 and the funnel part 18. In this method, as the sprue brick, a tube-like brick extruded and cut to a prescribed length is used.
