Abstract:
To provide a method for constructing a widened road, by which the term of works of widening construction works in a landslide zone is shortened while cost can be reduced.
In the method for constructing the widened road, widened road bodies are built successively on foundation piles 1, driving the foundation piles in order along an existing road 3 while being adjoined on the valley side of the existing road 3 previously installed on a slope. In the landslide zone, landslide inhibiting piles 2 arranged near the foundation piles 1 are driven synchronously when the foundation piles 1 are driven.
