Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a control method of a direct drive meter for a rotary dividing table capable of arranging the reference position of a motor shaft which is emergency-stopped or stopped by the power failure in the condition arranged between dividing positions at the target dividing position when the power source is charged.
CONSTITUTION: Stop regions α, β, γ, δ which are sufficiently smaller than the total turning range of a motor shaft are set so as to contain the respective dividing positions A, B, C, D corresponding to the dividing positions A, B, C, D where the reference point P on the circumferential surface of the motor shaft to be connected to a rotary table is temporarily stopped. When the motor shaft is emergency stopped, and the reference point P is between the adjacent stop regions A, B, the reference point P is turned to return to the next dividing position B. When the reference point P is in the stop regions α, it is turned to return to the next dividing position B.
