Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a spool valve which can prevent malfunction and leakage of fluid caused by widening of a packing to be installed to a spool without increasing number of items, assembling steps and processing steps.
CONSTITUTION: A spool valve is provided with a plurality of ports B, R2, a valve body 9 having a valve seat 14 arranged between the ports B and R2, a plurality of peripheral grooves 17 and O rings 19 fitted to the grooves. A flow passage between the ports B and R2 are communicated and interrupted by through separation and contact of the O rings 19 in respect to the valve seat 14. A groove 18 is formed on a side surface 17b of the peripheral groove on a downstream side of the flow passage formed between the peripheral groove of a spool 10 and the valve seat 14, for communicating a bottom surface of the peripheral groove with an outer peripheral side.
