CONSTITUTION: On the drawing final process of the cast slab that the supply of molten steel to the mold 1 for continuous casting is finished, the toppest part T of the cast slab strand 1 is detected, the roll opening degree of the inlet side pinch roll 4 is enlarged at the time that this toppest part T reaches at the inlet side pinch roll 4, and the outlet side pinch roll 5 is controlled so as to make the drawing force and the rotary speed of the cast strip in correspondence with the motion of squeezing.
