Abstract:
To provide a method for controlling an electric motor (25), which operates a pump (16) to supply a water-based working liquid.SOLUTION: A control method comprises: a step of providing, during normal operation to pump a water-based working liquid, three stator windings (27) of an electric motor (25) with three corresponding alternating electric currents (I1, I2, I3), which have phases shifted by 120°, so as to generate a rotary magnetic field; and a step of providing, before starting to pump the water-based working liquid, during a pre-heating procedure for pre-heating a pump (16), two sole stator windings (27) with two corresponding alternating electric currents (I1, I2), which have the same phase to each other and return, adding to each other, through a third stator winding (27), not to determined movement of a rotor (29) of the electric motor (25) and to generate only heat due to a Joule effect in the stator windings (27).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
