Abstract:
To reduce a meandering amount of a tail end part of a rolled material, and to suppress generation of a throttle.SOLUTION: In a meandering control method for controlling meandering of a rolled material in M-th stand of a mill, a threshold ETH of first-class parallel rigidity at which a meandering amount of the rolled steel in the M-th stand becomes smaller than an allowable amount is set in advance, a first-class parallel rigidity actual calculation value Eb at the M-th stand is calculated, the meandering control is not performed when the first-class parallel rigidity actual calculation value Eb is equal to the threshold ETH or smaller, at least either of a pressure-lowering position change amount ΔS of the M-th stand or a bending force change amount ΔF for setting the first-class parallel rigidity to the threshold ETH or smaller is calculated on the basis of the first-class parallel rigidity actual calculation value Eb when the first-class parallel rigidity actual calculation value Eb is larger than the threshold ETH, and at least either of a pressure lowering position at the M-th stand or bending force is controlled while a tail end part of the rolled material passes the M-th stand.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
