Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a method for dehydrating sludge using freezing and fusing.
SOLUTION: This method for dehydrating sludge is constituted of such a process that part of sludge to be fed for use in precoating is extracted from the required sludge therefor and is frozen and fused so as to use the frozen and fused sludge for precoating of a filter-press dehydrator, that raw sludge is fed to the dehydrator for dehydration, and that the circulation of freezing, fusing and dehydrating are repeated until a predetermined concentration of sludge is obtained by circulating the resultant dehydrated sludge to the sludge to be fed, and such a process that the filter-press dehydrator is precoated by the sludge to be fed of a predetermined concentration to dehydrate the raw sludge and that the resultant dehydrated sludge is discharged to the outside as dehydration-finished sludge.
