Title:
METHOD FOR DETECTING MONOBASIC SUBSTITUTION BY FLUORESCENCE CORRELATION SPECTROSCOPY
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3910000
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for detecting a monobasic substitution by which a high-sensitive and high-accuracy detection of the monobasic substitution can simply be carried out, the simple method for detecting the monobasic substitution without requiring B/F separation, polymerase chain reaction(PCR), cataphoresis, etc., and further the method for detecting the monobasic substitution by which plural polymorphic sites can simultaneously be detected if required by using small amounts of a specimen and a reagent.
SOLUTION: This method of detection is for detecting the monobasic substitution and comprises (1) hybridizing a specimen DNA containing the monobasic substitution site and at least one kind of DNA probe having a complementary sequence to a saquence anticipated in being included in the specimen DNA and having a labeled substance labeled on the base correspond to the monobasic substitution site and (2) optically assaying a positional variation of the labeled substance at plural lapse points in the progress of the hybridization.
