Abstract:

To provide a method for detecting object protein utilizing a solid phase holding a newly composed peptide probe on the surface, obtainable in high reproducibility and high bonding force equivalent to an antibody molecule even in short chain peptide.

The solid phase holding the peptide probe on the surface has copolymer resin prepared by co-polymerizing a monomer molecule and a monomer molecule having a peptide chain having affinity with the object protein in the side chain, on the surface, the content ratio of the monomer molecule having the peptide chain in the side chain is limited to the small amount to the monomer molecule of the main component, and the object protein is detected by using the solid phase holding the peptide probe as the side chain of the monomer molecule on the surface.
