To provide a method and a device for casing containers wherein a large number of containers being filled with liquid, sealed, and conveyed are aligned and grasped by a grip head so as to be moved and cased in an open case.
A large number of containers 41 being filled with liquid, sealed, and conveyed are aligned on a bottle conveyor 45. The group of containers is stopped at a predetermined position. The group of containers on the conveyor are grasped and raised by a single or a plurality of grip heads 52 having a container gripper 54 of case unit and a grip head moving means. Thereafter, the single container or the plurality of containers are bound in a mass and moved horizontally by following an open case 61 being conveyed with an articulated robot 50, and guided by a container guide means 71 which moves synchronously with the case conveyance so that the case is lowered and casing is effected.
