PURPOSE: To enhance working efficiency, prolong the life of cutters and eliminate the occurrence of shear droop strain and burrs by cutting the crank type section forming plate side faces on a cut die by rolling-cutters then shearing the top surface with a cut punch in one direction.
CONSTITUTION: A molding plate 1 is fitted and placed on a cut die 2 and is protruded by the specified divided length from a shearing cutter 15. Next, a cut punch 13 is lowered and slided by pressing force by way of a pucnh holder. The side faces 6, 6 are cut by the wedge mechanisms of the rolling cutters 16, 16 pivotally supported to the punch 13 and the plate is subsequently roll-cut to end cutting. Thereafter, the cutter 15 of the punch 13 is also lowered and slided along with this until it abuts against the top surface 7, where shearing force is applied to shear the top surface 7 within the same plane as the cut faces of the side faces 6, 6, whereby the molding plate 1 is divided and cut at the specified length in the axial direction.
