To move a table back to the original position without bringing the front end of a work into contact with a sawtooth after completing cutting processing.

A work W is placed on a table 23 which reciprocates along the right and left direction to a sawtooth BS. The work W is clamped by a clamp device 39 provided in a cutting width positioning device 41, the clamp device 39 moves forward to almost cross to a cutting line CL of a sawtooth BS in a right angle direction on the table 23 and the cutting position of the work W is positioned in the cutting line CL of the sawtooth BS. After the table 23 moves forward in the direction of the sawtooth BS and the work W is cut and processed, and after the clamp device 39 moves forward and a product is pushed forward at the front end of the work W, the clamp device 39 moves back and the front end of the work W is positioned at the rear side from a cutting line CL. When the table 23 moves back to the original position, then, the front end of the work W does not come in contact with the sawtooth BS, so the damage to the sawtooth BS can be avoided.
