Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for deciding a state and a position of a tire.SOLUTION: The device comprises: a first tire rotation sensor for supplying a first tire rotation signal as the tire passes one of at least two predetermined rotation positions during rotation of the tire; and a second tire rotation sensor 22 attached to an outer part of the tire, detecting rotation of the tire, and supplying a second tire rotation signal indicating a tire increment angular position to a reference position. A receiver 44 disposed on the vehicle receives a transmitted tire state signal, a unique tire identification mark, and the second tire rotation signal, and correlates the reception of the tire state signal with the second rotation signal so that the unique tire identification mark is associated with the position of a certain tire of the vehicle.
