Abstract:

To correctly and securely acquire locations of generating problems which might cause displacement of a multi-shaft robot with a simple configuration.

Optical axes of laser pointers, mounted to the respective locations 14, 16, 18 where the displacement of the multi-shaft robot 12 might occur, are made coincide with a target 22 arranged at a place separated from the multi-shaft robot 12 and possible to receive lights L irradiated from the respective light casting means. When the displacement of the multi-shaft robot 12 occurs, the multi-shaft robot 12 is returned to a reference position for detecting the displacement, and the respective laser pointers cast the lights L on the target 22 in order. Presence/absence of the displacement of the optical axes are visually acquired with a position of a light spot on the target 22 so as to correctly specify the displacement occurring location.
