Abstract:

To provide a method and a device for detecting a yarn lap in a rotating component in a non-contact manner so that the yarn lap can be repeatedly identified in a stable process.

A sensor signal is generated in the form of ultrasonic wave, and a reverberation signal caused by the sensor signal is evaluated to measure the yarn lap.
