To provide a development environment which enables a developer of a source program to directly develop the source program on a target system in a cross development environment comprising a host target.
The developer of a source program creates the source program on a target system, and the created source program is transmitted to a host system and is cross-compiled through a cross-compile part. A compiled execution program is transmitted back to the target system and is executed. Editing, compilation, and execution of the source program are caused to progress on project base. A source editing part of the target system provides a source editing function, and a client part of project management provides project management functions of creating, opening, building, executing, etc. of the project while interlocking with a server part of the project management of the host system. The cross-compile part of the host system provides a source program cross-compile function.
