To provide an electrolytic capacitor element having uniform impregnating characteristic and capacity characteristics, while a machine is prevented from becoming contaminated with an excessive electrolyte by sidewise suction, the excessive electrolyte sticking by vacuum-impregnation processing, to the peripheral surface and the bottom surface of the electrolytic capacitor element for constant and for fast removal.
An electrolytic capacitor element 5 where an excessive electrolyte 6 sticks to a peripheral surface 5a and a bottom surface 5b, after vacuum- impregnation of the electrolyte 6 is transported, while its lead wire 5c is grasped for hanging, during which the element 5 is made to approach a fist suction body 11, where a suction hole 11b is laterally formed, so that the excessive electrolyte 6 sticking to peripheral surface 5a and bottom surface 5b which is near the suction body 11 is sucked and removed sideways through the sucking hole 11b. Then the peripheral surface 5a on the opposite side is made to approach a suction hole 12b formed at a second sucking body 12, so that the electrolyte 6 which is not removed by the first suction body 11 is sucked and removed in the lateral direction.
