Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the manufacturing cost of products, to shorten the manufacturing time and further, to prevent the occurrence of crack, etc., in a casting at the time of force-fitting.
SOLUTION: This method for forcedly fitting/another member to the passage of the casting W is executed by pulling out a pin 13 for hole as-cast at the solidified step till becoming the condition, in which molten metal in a mold can be held to a fixed shape, and pressing the other member into the passage Tm formed with the pin 13 for hole as-cast. Therefore, since the force-fitting of the other member to the passage during casting, the end part of the passage is unnecessary to machining for the force-fitting. Further, the special process for the force-fitting thereafter is unnecessitated. Furthermore, since the tight adhesion between the casting and the other member is improved by executing the force-fitting under high temp. condition of the casting, even if the farce- fitting degree is set to large, the casting does not occur the crack, etc.
