Abstract:
PURPOSE: To easily realize fuzzy control only by using past observation data on a controlled object without depending upon the experience rule of an operator.
CONSTITUTION: A fuzzy control system A before performing the fuzzy control supplies a manipulated variable to the controlled system 4 for a certain time and stores an observation value obtained from the controlled system 4 at this time in a storage part 5 and a clustering arithmetic part 8 generates many feature vectors showing the input/output relation of the controlled system 4 according to the observation value. Those characteristic vectors are classified in several clusters according to the mutual distances to find the center values of the respective clusters, the cluster center values are stored in a cluster center value storage part 2 to obtain the approximate model of the controlled system 4, and this is utilized as the fuzzy controller of a fuzzy control system A.
