Abstract:

PURPOSE: To attain smooth coping by sending a voice signal for callback identification to a handset over a prescribed time just after an off-hook state of its own handset is recognized so as to allow an opposite party to release the holding.
CONSTITUTION: A callback identification device 1 is made up of a trunk line monitor reception section 7, an operation identification signal reception section 8, a loop control section 9, a ciphering control section 10, a callback control section 11, a callback identification signal generating section 12 and a loop signal reception section 13 or the like and connects to a trunk line 14. The trunk line circuit 14 connects in series with a telephone line. The trunk line circuit 14 connects in series with the telephone line. Furthermore, an AC power supply section 15 forms part of the callback control section 11 and a feeding circuit 16 connecting to the ciphering control section 10 applies a DC voltage to a terminal equipment only during ciphering state. Then the callback control section 11 is operated by a DTMF signal sent from a telephone set of the opposite party or other equipment to ring a signal whose level corresponds to its own telephone set and sends a voice signal for callback identification to a handset over a prescribed time just after hook-off state of its own handset is recognized.
