Abstract:
To provide a method and a device for easily inspecting the presence or absence of a defect derived from the unevenness of the surface of an inspection target body and the location of the defect.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a method for inspecting a surface that detects the presence or the absence of a defect derived from the unevenness of the surface of an inspection target body in the shape of a plane carried in a predetermined direction by the change of the intensity of inspection light. The inspection light includes at least two inspection lights that pass on the surface of the inspection target body or in the inspection target body in a direction parallel to the surface of the inspection target body in side view of the inspection target body and in a direction intersecting with the direction of transfer of the inspection target body in planer view.
