PURPOSE: To provide a manufacturing method and a manufacturing device for lost foam pattern, in which there is scarcely wasted lost foam material and the manufacturing term can be shortened and the skillfulness is not necessary to manufacture this pattern.

CONSTITUTION: The lost foam pattern intended to manufacture is designed with a computer A as a three-dimensional shaped solid model and the solid model is divided into cells having the size corresponding to cube or rectangular parallelepiped with a computer B and the positions of the cells are transformated to the coordinates with the comuter B. Based on the coordinated data transformated to the coordinates, carrying data for carrying and piling the blocks are manufactured with the computer C and the blocks composed of the cubic or the rectangular parallelepiped lost foam material are piled to the three-dimensional shape based on the carrying data, and the blocks are mutually joined to form these blocks to the prescribed three dimensional shape of the lost foam pattern.
