Abstract:
To provide an improved method for obtaining fuel pressure and/or the amount of injected fuel.
A fuel injection unit of an internal combustion engine adjusts the amount of fuel depending on first and second drive signals. The first drive signal controls the start and the end of adjusting the amount of fuel and the second drive signal controls the formation of pressure. The progress of pressure characteristics is obtained by starting from at least one of the first drive signal and the second drive signal.
