Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily position a torch on a machining position by rotatably/ elevatably mounting an arm to a columnar support column, mounting a plasma torch to one end of the arm and a torch position setting jig to the other end and positioning both tips linearly symmetrical to the support column.
SOLUTION: A plasma machining torch 9 is mounted to a first arm member 5, a torch position setting jig 12 is mounted to a second arm member 6, the tips are positioned linearly symmetrical to a columnar support column 2. By lifting the first/second arm members 5, 6 and rotating, a pin 3b of a first engaging means 3 is inserted into a hole 8a of a third engaging means 8 arranged to the second arm member 6. A machining point of a work 19 to be machined is aligned to a tip of the torch position setting jig 12. By lifting the first/second members 5, 6 and rotating in 180°, the pin 3b of the first engaging means 3 is inserted to a hole 7a of a second engaging means 7 to position the plasma machining torch 9.
