PURPOSE: To facilitate a casting work and to improve the quality of a product by horizontally supporting a crucible until a metal material is completely melted and performing coasting via a funnel like receiver as well as inclining the crucible by gravity.
CONSTITUTION: A crucible 5 is supported by a support base 6 and arranged freely turnably around a trunnion shaft 31. A funnel like receiver 8 and mold 9 are arranged in order at the lower part thereof. An active metal material is stored in the crucible 5 in specified amt. and the heating and melting are completely executed by a melting means 13. After completion of the melting the crucible 5 is tilted with the shaft 31 as a fulcrum by gravity when a fitting pin 38 is pulled in by a solenoid 36, etc., and a molten metal is cast in the mold 9 via the funnel like receiver 8. Due to the molten metal being heated until its complete melting and cast thereafter there are no short and over meltings and the contamination of other materials is prevented. Consequently casting work is facilitated and the product quality is improved.
