Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive hydrocarbon fuel composition for an engine for a gas turbine and a vessel.SOLUTION: A heavy VGO flow and pitch flow are produced by the slurry hydrocracking of a heavy hydrocarbon feed flow, at least a part of the pitch flow is subjected to solvent deasphalting to generate a low vanadium deasphalted oil flow. The same is blended with at least a part of the heavy VGO flow to provide fuel for a turbine or a vessel having the characteristics of the burning grade in a gas turbine or the fuel grade for a vessel.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
