Title:
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR RESTORING SOUND DURING ERASING
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3898775
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restore a data stream without producing various kinds of noises when a digitized sound is erased during transmission.
SOLUTION: The information of digital sounds such as voices is generally transmitted by a burst containing the samples of plural digitized sounds, namely, by a packet. When there is erasure or mute, this digital data stream is restored. At a data receiver provided with a sound processing part 10, plural continuous data bursts outputted from a sound buffer 11 are stored in a cyclic buffer 13. During the erasure, the stored bursts are outputted in the reverse order of storage into the sound buffer 11 and the data stream is restored. Since the bursts are used again while inverting the sequence of the samples of digitized sounds, the data stream can be restored practically without any click.
