Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet guide device for a paper sheet printer, suppressing sheet flattering and paper rampage even in generation thereof in a guide clearance, which can make stable conveyance and smoothly convey a paper sheet even in the case that a printing surface not sufficiently dried after reversing is guided.
SOLUTION: An air nozzle type sheet guide conveying a sheet while floating it from a sheet guide surface by jetting air to a guide clearance formed between the sheet and the sheet guide surface guiding the sheet and a bar-shaped sheet guide extended along on the guide surface of this air nozzle type sheet guide and along a conveying direction of the sheet are provided, this bar-shaped sheet guide is extended along a non-pattern location of the sheet, in this way, air is jetted to a guide clearance formed between the sheet and the guide surface guiding the sheet, the sheet is conveyed while floated from the guide surface, and in the case of generating flattering in the sheet conveyed while floated slightly from the sheet guide surface by a flow of jetted air, this sheet comes into contact with the bar-shaped sheet guide, an escape of air in a width direction of the sheet is impeded, by increasing an air pressure, floating force to the sheet is increased.
