Abstract:
To control the operation of an induction motor using a model of the induction motor.
A control device includes a model of the motor, and the model is used to determine design values of a first motor variable and a second motor variable. An estimation value of slip is adjusted based on a part of comparison between the design value of the second motor variable and an estimation value of the second motor variable based on at least a part of a bus voltage value and a bus current value. When the estimation value of slip is adjusted, the design values are updated, by which a voltage used to energize the motor is updated to control the motor based on the control of the first motor variable.
