Abstract:
To provide a general method which determines a position of a moving target o, tracks it and attacks it if required, and a device.
A method for tracking a moving target, especially a vehicle 1, includes (a) a step of identifying the target, (b) a step of attaching a mark 10 which is invisible in a visible spectrum but retroreflective in a selected wavelength range of an invisible light spectrum to the target, and (c) a step of tracking the marked moving target through the use of an image capturing device provided on a moving platform, wherein its sensitivity is high in a selected wavelength range of the invisible spectrum.
