Abstract:

To provide a method and an equipment for extrusion capable of reducing the forming cycle and improving the production efficiency without deterioration in the operation rate even in a small lot production.

An extrusion equipment 1 is provided with a container 6 having a plurality of billet holes 6a, 6b, and a die holding body 5 having a plurality of die holding parts 5a, 5b, and while a billet B1 charged in one billet hole 6a is extruded from a die D1 mounted on one die holding part 5a, the setup work for the next extrusion including the billet charging to the other billet hole 6b and the die change to the other die holding part 5b is performed.
