Title:
METHOD AND EQUIPMENT FOR PULSE MAG ARC WELDING
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3533235
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To eliminate generation of burn-through and to obtain a uniform melt-through bead by setting a welding of a pulse electric conduction period to a welding speed or below of a first pulse electric conduction period changing welding speed in synchronizing with the changing signal of conduction period.
CONSTITUTION: Arc length of a first pulse electric conduction period T1 whose pulse length is large is denoted as L1, and arc length of a second pulse electric conduction period T2 whose arc length is small is denoted as L2. A second welding speed WS2 of a second pulse electric conduction period T2 is set to ≤1/2 or zero of a first welding speed WS1 of a first pulse electric conduction period T1. By synchronizing with a switching signal of a first pulse electric conduction period T1 and a second pulse electric conduction period T2, the welding speed is switched periodically. In a first pulse electric conduction period T1, an object 2 to be welded can be melted widely. By switching to second arc length L2, in a first pulse electric conduction period T1, a heat input thrown in excessively to the object 2 to be welding is suppressed, and burn- through can be prevented.
