Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent the occurrence of black shade in a whitened part formed at the tip of a picture with a simple constitution by applying a high bias voltage to perform the development processing of the tip of a latent image.
CONSTITUTION: The bias voltage applied to a developing sleeve 10 through a bias voltage output circuit 11 is controlled by a CPU 12 so that the bias voltage higher than that to the part other than the tip of the latent image is applied to the tip of the latent image, and the tip of the latent image is subjected to development processing and is not practically developed. As the result, the occurrence of black shade in the whitened part formed in the tip part of the picture is prevented by the simple constitution.
