To provide a method of obtaining data representing the situation of drainage from either a fuel cell system that produces water as it generates electricity or a vehicle that carries the fuel cell system.
The surface of an object splashed with water due to drainage from either a vehicle that carries a fuel cell or another vehicle that simulates the vehicle is imaged. The image taken is subjected to an incrementing process and a binarizing process is performed. This makes it possible to obtain data that objectively shows the degree of splashing. Data is for example numerical data about the number of water droplets clinging to objects nearby or about the area where the water droplets cling. The data thus obtained can be used to evaluate the drainage of a fuel cell system or the like or to adapt a drainage system. In particular, the method can be suitably used to evaluate and adapt a vehicle that carries a fuel cell that could cause a drainage problem.
