To provide a method for extraction and presentation of destination in a guide map, by which an easily understandable route map and a detailed map of destination or required information are obtained in a short period of time on a charged basis.

The method includes (1) a power supply input step for inputting a power supply of a computer using coins etc., (2) an input step for inputting identifiers such as a title of destination, address and telephone number, (3) a route map extraction step for extracting and displaying a map, in which the destination is marked and the most suitable route to the destination is displayed with a line, on a screen, (4) a circumferential map extraction process for displaying a detailed map of the destination circumference and the required information on the screen, and (5) a printout step.
