To provide both a method and facilities for producing carbonized wastes, capable of reducing a fuel in producing a waste solid fuel, forming an efficiently usable carbonized waste solid fuel and controlling formation of dioxins.
In subjecting a waste molding to dry distillation and carbonization by a furnace 3, a dry distillation gas generated in the dry distillation and carbonization process is burnt by combustion equipment 4. The obtained combustion gas and a gas evolved by drying waste are subjected to heat exchange by a heat exchanger 5. The gas evolved by drying waste heated by the heat exchange is preferably introduced into a waste and circularly used in a drying machine 1. Preferably the temperature of the combustion gas is adjusted before the heat exchange with the gas evolved by drying waste. The temperature adjustment of the combustion gas is preferably carried out by installation of a heat exchanger for a boiler and preferably the exhaust heat of the combustion gas is effectively recovered.
