Abstract:
PURPOSE: To eliminate the need for removal of a swell part by preventing a swell part caused by an excess thickness from being generated on the bottom surface of base material because a punch is bitten into a corner part.
CONSTITUTION: The circumferential wall Wa of a cup shape base material W is pushed inward by a punch 2 freely movable forwards and backwards inward in the radial direction to press-form a tooth form on the circumferential wall Wa. A relief part 2a for a corner part Wc between this circumferential wall Wa and the base material bottom wall Wb is formed on the punch 2 so that the punch 2 does not bite into the corner Wc.
